Building better relationships together
Customer care is a top priority for Danfoss, and the workshops are designed to boost customer care by identifying what customers want. Danfoss will bring knowledge of products and applications, while wholesalers will bring experience of their market situation and customers. By combining the two, Danfoss wholesalers should be able to deliver better service for customers.
For the workshops to really add benefit, they need to be targeted. So wholesalers will choose two to three value propositions, such as logistics, training and support, pricing, and promotion. Then with Danfoss’ help, they will apply these to their customer portfolio.
The first workshop, held in June, has already generated great results. One Danish wholesaler who chose the promotion value is now integrated in the Danfoss IT system – so information about all Danfoss products automatically updates on the wholesaler’s homepage. And a Norwegian wholesaler has now set up a team dedicated to its Danfoss account, with the goal of improving service for its customers.
After the workshops are completed at the end of 2009, Danfoss will share best practices with all the wholesalers involved. Already it looks like customers will feel the difference with improved wholesaler support and service. And interest in the workshops has spread, with Asian and North American wholesalers requesting information – so wherever you are, your wholesaler will be thinking of you.
