Humidification and adiabatic cooling
Indoor air quality is determined by a number of factors. Humidity is one of the most important factors directly effecting human beings as well as animals, plants and almost any material. Human beings, for example, feel most comfortable at humidity between 40 and 60% rH and a temperature of 22°C. Correct humidity minimizes risk of infection with contagious disease, growth of bacteria or fungi. Furthermore, it improves the working environment of employees as well as the stability in processes. Today several different technologies are found in the market suitable for the large variety of applications, such as evaporative, steam and ultrasonic humidifiers and air-water systems. With growing attention to energy consumption, hygiene and total cost of ownership, a new technology has evolved and taken its place in the market:
High-Pressure water mist humidification
This new technology in the humidification market is outperforming all alternatives on environmental friendliness as eg the direct positive influence on CO2 emissions. Most importantly, the technology can be used in cooling applications by exploiting the cooling generated when the mist is absorbed into the air. This allows us to cool the inlet air 5-10° C at considerably lower cost than any other technology on the market. Combined with our unique frequency converter we are able to deliver an intelligent cost competitive humidification and adiabatic cooling system in all sizes suitable for any application.
