Valves - Pressure testing

A company producing heat exchangers for the industry and food industry worldwide has installed 22 VDHT valves in a pressure testing system for soldered plate heat exchangers at 30 and 50 bar with demineralised water.
10 heat exchangers are tested at a time. The pressure testing is needed to make sure that the heat exchangers are not leaking. For the customer it was very important that the valves are drip-proof, as even a small internal leakage in the valve will give a change in the system pressure and by mistake indicate that the plate exchanger is leaking.
