Danfoss VLT HVAC Drive saving energy

VLT® HVAC Drive variable frequency drives improve hospital environment and at the same time reduce energy consumption by more than 50%

The great benefit of the Danfoss VLT variable frequency drives is they do not only give you full control over your electric drive system. They help you save a lot of energy - and reduce CO2 emissions - at the same time. Right from the start.

VLT HVAC Drive variable frequency drives installed as part of the air handling equipment in the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals have significantly improved the internal environment in the areas served.

But at the same time, the VLT variable frequency drives reduce the energy consumption by more than 50%. This has been quantified as saving £48,000; 288 tonnes of CO2 emissions and 533,000 kWh of electricy per annum.

The answer is here - it just needs to be applied!

In the March edition of Drives&Controls, Senior Vice President of VLT Drives, Ole Møller-Jensen, talked about already having the solutions to help save energy and to cut CO2 emissions.

Drives are one of the best industrial contributors available for immediate energy optimisation and
CO2 reduction, and they are simple to install and commission.

Frequency converters are energy reduction made easy.
