New award for VLT® FlexConcept®

At the SAVE exhibition that was held in Verona, Italy in October, the VLT® FlexConcept® was awarded with the Special Automation Ecohitech Award within “Components, Technologies and Systems”.
In their motivation for the award, the jury emphasized the balance between business productivity and environmental impact made possible by integrating mechanical components and advanced electronics.
"By optimizing motors, gear units and frequency converters, it is possible to reduce the power consumption by up to 30%, compared to non-optimized solutions. Also, the design of the solution, which has been developed according to the strict industry hygiene regulations, perfectly meets the requirements to the eco-compatibility of the solution", the jury said.
