Hospital cuts energy costs with VLT® Drives
05 December 2011
Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark expects to slash its energy consumption used for cooling by 800,000 kWh per year after installing new, VLT® HVAC drive-controlled chillers and heat pumps. The drives were installed in a complete overhaul of the hospital’s cooling and heating system. The new system is one of the first to combine heating and cooling in a single system and will reduce the hospital’s CO2 emissions by 750 tons a year.
