District cooling

District cooling

District cooling is becoming increasingly interesting due to the high demands for energy optimization. District cooling is made by absorption and adsorption cooling from electricity production, heat pump systems or natural cooling from the sea or under-ground. VLT® drives can optimize the control of the system and help to increase the total energy saved. The larger the system, the greater power required – and VLT® drives go all the way.
