Shop Screen Layout

The branding on the VLT® Shop reflects the branding that you already know from Danfoss.com.
However, there are some differences in the detail of the layout that you need to be aware of.

The VLT Shop is a walled-in environment, protected by a login. Any links to Danfoss.com will open therefore in a separate window to reflect the fact that it is a separate system.

Also, the VLT Shop is (currently) implemented using so-called frames. This means that the Back and Forward buttons on the browser will not work as expected. In order to navigate to a previous view, you should right-click in the content area and select Refresh from the context menu.

The screen layout comprises three main areas:
  • The left hand panel holds the Product Catalog, which can be expanded to display the product hierarchy. At the top, a mini Shopping Cart displays a summary of products selected so far and their value
  • The right hand panel is dynamic – it is displayed where space and purpose allows and its content varies, showing general usage hints or ordering related information
  • The centre panel is the main working area. It is used to show general content – e.g on the Welcome/Home screen – catalog and product detail whilst browsing products or configuration and shopping cart details as you specify and order the VLT® of your choice.
