... VLT® Drives

The current generation of VLT® drives comprises the VLT® AutomationDrive for industrial applications, the VLT® HVAC Drive for climate control and the VLT® AQUA Drive for water- and wastewater solutions. The VLT® Micro Drive supports general low power OEM applications.

… Frequency Converters

Frequency converters control speed, torque, and the overall performance of AC motors by controlling the power input.
Mastering this technology to optimise operation of any motor powered application is the core of our business.

... saving energy, reducing costs

Energy savings and other cost reductions are an important part of your selection criteria. VLT® drives are designed to be the most energy efficient drives available. Danfoss VLT® drives also ensure ease of installation and operation, and so reduce maintenance and production costs while improving efficiency and safety.

... VLT® High Power Drives

Using the latest techniques and components, Danfoss Drives has succeeded in developing high power frequency drives that are the smallest, lightest and most efficient in the power range of 90 kW to 1,4 MW. These high power drives support the application-specific functionality of the VLT® AutomationDrive, VLT® HVAC Drive and VLT® AQUA Drive models.

... VLT® Low Harmonic Drives

In industrial low and medium voltage mains, passive filters and PFC capacitors have traditionally been used to improve the supply quality. However, they are affected by harmonic currents from other non-linear loads or by harmonics from the power system.  The VLT® Low Harmonic Drive can be successfully used to improve the supply voltage quality in industrial networks more effectively than passive filters and PFC capacitors.
