First CO2 System for Student Training Center at State Polytechnic of Bandung (POLBAN)

On August 31st 2007, testing and commissioning has been successfully done for cascade system using CO2 and R-404A at State Polytechnic of Bandung (Polban).

This is environmental friendly system that meets the Kyoto protocol’s requirement which is nowadays become very important issue. Polban’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Department is the pioneer to apply the system as part of their training center facilities. The system is miniature of supermarket with low and medium temperature for cold room and showcases. Danfoss as a leader in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industries has supported the project by controlling the system using advance technology ADAPKOOL. PT. Bitzer Compressor Indonesia and PT. Frigrite Indonesia have also participated with compressors rack and showcases.
