50,000 Danish Kroner to Flood Victims in Africa

The Fabrikant Mads Clausen Foundation has decided to support the annual collection of the Danish Red Cross with a donation of 50,000 DKK. The amount has been earmarked for the victims of the flooding in Uganda. Many people have lost their homes and other belongings and are now risking malaria and other diseases as well. At the same time they are running out of food.

Many people in the southeastern part of Jutland, Denmark experienced the destructive force of heavy rainfall at the end of August. But it seems a mere trifle compared to the destructions brought on by the immense amount of water in Uganda.
