Hospitals, institutions and health
In this category, the Foundation supported a wide range of relief organisations, institutions for the disabled, patient associations and care centres for children and the elderly. In addition, several local hospitals received support for the purchase of diagnostic and treatment equipment.
In 2006, the largest donation in this category was given to the Danish Rheumatism Association to fund an ultrasonic scanner for the Rheumatology Centre in Gråsten. The scanner will allow even small bone changes to be ascertained at a very early stage.
