Art and culture

The Foundation supports numerous projects within art and culture, primarily in the vicinity of Danfoss companies. Recipients include local historical societies, choirs and orchestras, museums and artist groups.

In 2008, one of the largest donations - DKK 250,000 - was given to TV-Glad, which opened a studio in Aabenraa during the course of the year. TV-Glad is the world's first television station run by and for people with learning disabilities. It has studios in four locations so far and produces programmes which are aired on various local TV channels. The studios are modern workplaces, where people with learning disabilities are trained, under professional guidance, as reporters and television broadcasters.
The foundation provided support for the acquisition of technical equipment.
