The recipient of this year's scholarship was Thomas Træger Hansen. He was educated as an industrial technician at Danfoss. He received Danfoss' internal apprentice award. Thomas is now studying at The University of Southern Denmark to become a Mechatronics engineer. The studies last three and a half years. Thomas received a scholarship of totally DKK 75,000.
The scholarship was handed over by Peter M. Clausen, Chairman of the Danfoss Foundation for Education at a reception at Danfoss on 9 March 2012.
