The foundation awarded an apprentice scholarship to a student who had completed his apprenticeship at Danfoss.

The Mads Clausen Institute at the Southern University of Denmark was given two full scholarships for students enrolling for the period 2007-2009. The recipients will be appointed in the spring of 2007.

Furthermore, the foundation awarded an extraordinary scholarship: The Refrigeration Award. The award was presented on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Authorized Refrigeration Installers Association in Denmark in recognition of an extraordinary effort to implement refrigeration and air conditioning installations with natural refrigerants. The award was a travelling scholarship to be used for a course in the development and implementation of natural refrigerants. The scholarship - in the amount of 25,000 DKK - was awarded to Michael Aarup from the Danish company Soeborg Refrigeration Industry.
