Nis Storgaard holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering (physics).
Nis Storgaard joined Danfoss in 1991 as Vice President of the District Heating Business Unit. The previous 15 years he worked for F.L. Schmidt & Co. / FLS Industries, in a career that took him to Venezuela, the UK, South Africa, France and Japan, with responsibilities ranging from product and process development, sales & marketing, production and project management. In 1987 he was appointed President of FLS Industries A/S activities in Japan.
In 1996 Nis Storgaard became President of Danfoss District Heating, and in 2001 he was appointed President of the Danfoss Heating Division with the responsibility for 5 Business Units: District Heating, Heating Controls, Floor Heating, Heat Pumps and Water Controls.
As of November 2009 Nis Storgaard was appointed Executive Vice President & CDO of Danfoss A/S.
