Danfoss maintains the employees’ right to be members of a union and their right to collective bargaining. In countries where national law does not give employees the right to freely choose a trade union or where an established trade union system is not possible, Danfoss will make sure that employees can meet with management in other ways to discuss work-related conditions.
Danfoss does not tolerate forced labour. Every employee should have a contract of employment or similar agreements which specify employment terms and the conditions of termination so it is clear that the employee is voluntarily employed.
Danfoss actively fights child labour by only hiring juveniles if they are between the ages of 15 and 18; if they are above the local compulsory school age; and if they are above the local minimum age for employment.
