Anti Corruption

Corruption is one of the key obstacles to free trade and is also the most critical threat to combating poverty worldwide. Danfoss does not tolerate corruption or bribery and all managers, sales staff and purchasers are trained in anti-corruption using a dilemma game.
Danfoss has prepared an internal Ethics Handbook including ethical guidelines specifying what the company expects of the employees. The ethical guidelines are compulsory for all Danfoss employees. In addition to this, an Ethics Hotline has been created for employees to report severe violations of the ethical ground rules.  

Corporate Citizenship

Danfoss’ overall goal within Corporate Citizenship is "keeping our own house in order".
This applies to employees, so that they have an attractive workplace and a healthy work-ing environment. It applies to the environment, where Danfoss products contribute to energy savings, and where the environmental impact of their production is constantly being reduced.
And it applies, in a broad sense, to social and ethical responsibility.
Efforts are continually being intensified, because when employee satisfaction is high, consumption of resources is as low as possible, and the company’s ethics and reputation are good, the result is a positive effect on the accounting bottom line.
